The Inductive pickup is designed for measuring engine speed by clamping it around a Secondary Ignition cable. While traditionally used on a Spark Plug wire it can also be used on a coil wire to get better measurement response. The compact, lightweight and clip-on design of this sensor offer a simple and easy detection of the number of pulses. Since the detector and its cord are made of heat resistance materials, these models are not affected by the high temperature in the engine room. Supplied with a 12-foot cable.
